Burgos, <\/strong>FVP and Operations Head of PNB<strong>;<\/strong> <strong>Reginaldo B.<\/strong> <strong>Cariaso<\/strong>, President and CEO of RCBC; <strong>Grace Lovely V. Dayo<\/strong>, FVP of Land Bank; <strong>Michael O. De Jesus<\/strong>, President and CEO of DBP.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Fabian S. Dee<\/strong>, President and CEO of Metrobank; <strong>Ana Maria A. Delgado<\/strong>, President and CEO of Union Bank; <strong>Kathleen<\/strong> <strong>Charmaine H. Hernandez<\/strong>, Director of Standard Chartered Bank; <strong>John Howard D<\/strong>. <strong>Medina,<\/strong> COO of PBCom; <strong>John Cary L.<\/strong> <strong>Ong<\/strong>, EVP of Security Bank;\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Albert T. Reyes<\/strong>, SVP and IT Head of AUB; <strong>Alexander G. Seminiano,<\/strong> SVP and Chief Digital Officer of BPI; <strong>Manuel C. Tagaza<\/strong>, SVP and Chief Digital Officer of Chinabank; <strong>Nestor V. Tan<\/strong>, President and CEO of BDO; and <strong>Ajay Verma<\/strong>, SVP and Officer-in-Charge of Equicom Savings Bank.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>At the Board\u2019s organizational meeting that followed, <strong>Nestor V.<\/strong> <strong>Tan<\/strong> and <strong>Fabian S. Dee<\/strong> were reelected chairman of the Board and president, respectively, while <strong>Reginaldo B. Cariaso<\/strong> was elected treasurer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dee told the stockholders that BancNet once again demonstrated resilience, growth, operational improvements, and strategic progress across its business in 2024. \u201cWe made significant strides in bolstering our digital resilience through enhancements to infrastructure, security, and disaster preparedness. A core element of enhancing resilience was modernizing our primary data center for increased capacity and availability,\u201d he said. Other significant strategic upgrades were undertaken to seamlessly handle the increasing transaction volume BancNet processes, ensuring uninterrupted operations and high service levels.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dee also reported that BancNet strengthened its financial foundation considerably, with notable increases in both total assets and equity. Total assets grew by 10% to Php1.88 billion, and total equity increased by 6% to Php1.24 billion, funded by net income which stood at\u00a0Php90.63 million.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In the same meeting, the Board also appointed the members of the Operations Committee and other company officers. The committee is responsible for translating Board-defined policies into detailed operating standards and procedures.\u00a0 Appointed were <strong>Melanie Marie D. Aguirre<\/strong> of BPI, <strong>Reynaldo C. Burgos<\/strong> of PNB, <strong>Manish Chawla<\/strong> of Union Bank, <strong>Geronimo Alfred S. Crisologo<\/strong> of DBP, <strong>Janet D. Gamboa<\/strong> of Land Bank, <strong>Expedito Garcia, Jr<\/strong>. of PBCom,\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Rainelda I. Graves<\/strong> of Equicom Savings Bank, <strong>Tomas Victor A. Mendoza<\/strong> of BDO, <strong>Wilfredo Rodriguez,<\/strong> <strong>Jr.<\/strong> of AUB, <strong>Manuel C. Tagaza<\/strong> of Chinabank, <strong>Dennis Tangonan<\/strong> of Security Bank, <strong>Juan Gabriel<\/strong> <strong>R. Tomas<\/strong> of RCBC, <strong>Jay S.
