Tan and Fabian S. Dee have been given a fresh mandate by the newly elected BancNet Board of Directors to lead the company as chairman and president, respectively, for another term. Tan is currently the president and CEO of BDO while Dee is the president and CEO of Metrobank.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During their annual stockholders\u2019 meeting held May 23, 2023, the shareholders of BancNet elected the electronic banking consortium\u2019s Board of Directors for the term 2023-2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elected to the 15-man Board were:&nbsp;<strong>Michaelangelo R. Aguilar<\/strong>, President and CEO of Bank of Commerce;&nbsp;<strong>Charina D.C. Balanquit<\/strong>, First Vice President of Veterans Bank;&nbsp;<strong>Dennis C. Bancod<\/strong>, Senior Executive Vice President of RCBC;&nbsp;<strong>Edwin<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>R. Bautista<\/strong>, President and CEO of Union Bank;&nbsp;<strong>Florido P. Casuela<\/strong>, President of PNB;&nbsp;<strong>Michael O. De Jesus<\/strong>, President and CEO of DBP;&nbsp;<strong>Fabian S. Dee<\/strong>, President and CEO of Metrobank;&nbsp;<strong>Maria Alicia C. Marasigan<\/strong>, Senior Vice President of CTBC Bank;&nbsp;<strong>Leila C. Martin<\/strong>, Senior Vice President of Landbank;&nbsp;<strong>John Howard D.<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Medina<\/strong>, Chief Operations Officer of PBCom;&nbsp;<strong>John Cary L. Ong<\/strong>, Executive Vice President of Security Bank;&nbsp;<strong>Alexander G. Seminiano<\/strong>, Senior Vice President&nbsp; of BPI;&nbsp;<strong>Salvador R.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Serrano<\/strong>, Senior Vice President of East West Bank;&nbsp;<strong>Manuel C. Tagaza,&nbsp;<\/strong>Senior Vice President of China Bank; and&nbsp;<strong>Nestor V. Tan<\/strong>, President and CEO of BDO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board also elected the following key officers of the company aside from Tan and Dee:&nbsp;<strong>Elmarie S. Reyes<\/strong>, CEO;&nbsp;<strong>Edwin R. Bautista<\/strong>, Treasurer; and&nbsp;<strong>Agnes H. Maranan<\/strong>, Corporate Secretary.The Board also appointed the members of the Audit Committee, Corporate Governance Committee, Risk Oversight Committee, and Operations Committee. The latter is responsible for translating Board-defined policies into detailed operating policies and procedures. Its members for the 2023-2024 term are:&nbsp;<strong>Melanie Marie D.
